Lift for Life
The 2002 Penn State football team wanted a way to support one of their teammate's fathers who was battling a rare disease. The college football athletes wanted to use their platform as a way to inspire and bring awareness to everyone fighting a rare disease. They decided to hold a summer strength and conditioning competition as a fundraiser called the Lift for Life.

To this day, there are over 24 universities with an Uplifting Athletes chapter. Each chapter has a leader who drives home the mission and vision of the foundation was created over 20 years ago to make a difference in the community.
